EdTech platform audit
Why do Polish schools reject your system?
Most educational software developers focus on functions, forgetting about rigid regulations regarding personal data and network security in Poland. Since September 2016, when we opened the office on Grodzka Street in Lublin, we have seen dozens of great tools fail on simple formal errors. In 2024 alone, we analyzed 31 cases of rejected tender offers. The reason was almost always the same: non-compliance with current guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Science.
We lay our cards on the table: without a proper audit, entering the public education sector is a lottery. Our team, led by Dariusz Wiśniewski, checks your code and documentation against 217 specific control points. We don't write fluff about educational vision. Instead, you get a table with errors and a ready way to fix them. If a server in Dublin is blocking your way to 42 schools in the region, we'll tell you straight to your face on day one.
Correction report in 13 business days
Time is money, especially when the deadline for submitting offers in MEiN competitions is approaching. Our procedure is short and specific. For the first 4 days, we analyze the architecture of your platform. In the following week, we check how the system manages student logins and if encryption meets national standards. (Heads-up: many foreign systems forget about specific requirements for electronic logs). On the thirteenth day, you receive a completed document that is a ready set of instructions for your programmers.
- Verification of data location according to GDPR for minors.
- Digital accessibility tests for people with disabilities.
- Checking API compliance with board of education systems.
- Analysis of 14 key security documents.
Last quarter, we helped a platform from Warsaw that for 11 months couldn't break through bureaucracy in three districts. After our audit and the introduction of 18 suggested changes, their system was implemented in 42 facilities in just 34 days. We know who picks up the phone in the ministry and what arguments to use so your technology doesn't end up in an official's drawer. Regulations are our field, you take care of coding.
Preparation for certification guarantee
We don't promise miracles, but we give hard data. Our success rate in preparing for official certificates is 97.3%. If your system has gaps that cannot be easily patched, we will inform you within the first 48 hours of cooperation. We respect your time and our budget. Sgela Education Advocacy is not a corporate machine – with us, a specific person who has signed off on the success of 19 other EdTech platforms since January 2023 is responsible for the audit.
